This past week I was blessed to have my lovely friend Brooke Peterson, from Brooke Peterson Photography, shoot a few pictures of me. She is an amazing wedding and family photographer from Golden CO. Growing up in Montana she is a Montana girl at heart and loves to ski, adventure and is just a really cool and sweet girl. I have watched her in action a few times, one being when she photographed my cousins wedding last summer, and I am blown away at how amazing she is at getting the most unique pictures. She has an eye for beauty and it was so much fun to witness her craft from in front of the camera. We spent the afternoon strolling through Whitefish, shopping, gabbing and snapping a few pictures. You all MUST check out her site (linked here). And for all my beautiful friends getting married she should definitely be at the top of your list of photographers to consult with.
Thank you Brooke for the beautiful pictures ❤
Now for my outfit! I had known Brooke was coming to visit for a month or so and was saving this amazing flannel blazer for her to photograph. The colors are something you would find in your grandfathers closet but the fit is classy and so much fun to wear dressed up or down. I found this jacket in a small boutique in Whitefish named Sappari and have not been able to find anything close to it online! So if you are in the Whitefish area make sure you stop in a check out their cute little shop! That is one of the best things about small town/small shop buying is that you know no one else out there will have one like it!
I also wanted to give some information on the beautiful hair color I had done a little over a week ago! Rhonda Kastelitz, from Posh 125 in Kalispell, did an amazing job! I have always been enamored with an ombre hair color but was unsure how it would work out on my dark hair. She did an amazing job with finding the perfect shade of caramel and blonde to go with my dark brunette color. Winters can get so long in Montana and I am finding I am LOVING having a more summer color in the middle of all the snow! You all must check her out and give her a call if you need a cut or color she is the best! I attached a picture of Rhonda’s card so you can get ahold of her!
