Any time you walk into a TJ MAXX, Target, Forever 21, H&M, Nordstroms (well pretty much anywhere) you are seeing short sleeve, collared shirts that are light fabric and most of the time a little see through. It seems that anywhere I go I see another one that I kinda like and then realize that I have 2 other ones at home that look similar to it. Most of the time they are really reasonably priced so it is easy to collect a few of them.
I wanted to do a blog post on how I love to wear these types of shirts and hopefully inspire you to try it this summer. I like to put a cute bandeau under the shirt and wear it a little see through. I probably would never feel comfortable doing it with a pure white top but with one with a pattern or darker color I think its a lot of fun and really summery! The first time I wore one like this I felt like everyone was looking and that they knew I was NOT wearing a tank under my top, but then come to realize that no one really cares and that it is a really comfortable, pretty way to wear one of these popular collared shirts.
I have found quite the collection of bandeau tops these past few years but the one I am wearing in this picture is one of my favorites. It is from Victoria’s Secret and I like it because it has more structure than your basic bandeau and it also goes down a little longer on the torso. If you are on the lookout for a good one check it out and see if they work for you!
Hope you enjoy this post, thanks so much for looking and supporting. Thank you Megan Couser for the beautiful pictures!

ok I am so stoked to find your blog! I grew up in MT, went to school in Columbia Falls, and typically visit every summer to see my family (in Eureka but we always venture down to Whitefish and beyond. WE didn’t make it this year because of moving to CA, and I am so homesick! love seeing pics of downtown WF, in fact craving some salted caramel ice cream from that place right new the coffee shop. and my aunt used to own a flower shop right near you. Great style! I look forward to more!!
Kristy! Thank you for the sweet note! I love hearing about people who love this area also. Hope that you get to make it back here again soon!
